'Face' the nation

Part of being a presidential candidate is figuring out who will play your role in the movie about your life as president. Here are my choices for a few of the candidates.

Barack Obama will be played by...

...Halle Berry. If Cate Blanchett can play Bob Dylan, then why not?

At first I thought of Meryl Streep for Hillary Clinton.

But then I remembered this picture of Dr. Janice Lester from the classic "Star Trek" series...hmmm. And when you consider the plotline from this episode, how Dr. Lester made a power grab for the Enterprise by sabotaging her former lover, Capt. Kirk, it's practically typecasting.

To play the 'new and improved' Mike Huckabee...

...Kevin Spacey. Eerie, isn't it?

And for Mitt Romney..

...Stephen Colbert, which would do wonders for his campaign.

As for W...

...I still think Dana Carvey's 'Church Lady' is by far the actor with the proper emotional range for the role, don't you think?

Who are your nominees for John McCain, John Edwards, etc.? Of course, Fred Thompson could always play himself, which he does quite frequently.
