Crackin' the Book

Try this simple quiz--it only takes about a minute, unless you think too hard or you're looking up the answers in the Bible. If you went to Sunday School or don't fall asleep during sermons, you should be able to get most of them correct. On the first one, I got a 90%. If you're game, put your own score in the comments. Each day for a month the quiz will change. Keep coming back to this April 18 blog entry to test your biblical prowess.

Not bad, buddy! Nothing requiring remedial study but perhaps a brief glimpse at the first few chapters of Genesis.

According to the website where I found this, there is supposed to be a new quiz every day for 30 days.

Did you take the Circles of Hell quiz in the entry below this one? I am quite curious to see which one you would occupy...

On the quiz about Cain and Abel I got 100%.

I'm joining you in Circle Three, baby! Circle Four was a close second.

Thank you, Cynthia, for destroying my ego for the day. I scored 50%, an F. You see, I grew up in the Roman Catholic Church, and we didn't take those little Bible quizzes as children.

It's okay, Mimi. I went to seminary and scored a 72% on the Creation quiz. Too few questions; it's harsh.

Andy, nice to know I'll be in good company...and you can cook, if you'll pardon the pun. :-)

On the "Who was..." quiz I got 2 out of 7 correct, 29%! Cheat and use the Bible on this one.

Got a 90% on the disciples...whew! Back in the New Testament, from whence I preach the most!

91% on the Crucifixion, although no. 10 is worded incorrectly...Jesus quoted Psalm 22 when he was hanging on the cross.

And King David was not a prophet.
