The Hybrid Blog

Ecclesiastes was right: there is nothing new under the sun. Hybrid cars, new? Really? Check out this story about the "Great Hybrid Car Cover-Up of 1974". Yep, that's right...at the height of the energy crisis, with long lines at the pump, there were those who tried to hush up a brilliant inventor who engineered his own hybrid car. Wait 'til you see who the villain is...

The following is a funny little ad about plug-in hybrids. At the conclusion you have the opportunity to sign a petition in favor of them.

Which is "bettah"?

My husband and I just purchased a Honda Civic hybrid. Just lovin' that 40+ mpg!

Isn't that incredible?! I couldn't believe it either. David found these and sent them to me. He gets all kinds of stuff like this because he's looking to go into the solar field, which keeps track of kinds of alternative energy sources, stories, etc.
