An unwelcome prophet

“You know, Jesus reminded us in a magnificent parable one day that a man went to hell because he didn’t see the poor. And I come by here to say that America, too, is going to hell, if we don’t use her wealth. If America does not use her vast resources of wealth to end poverty, to make it possible for all of God’s children to have the basic necessities of life, she, too, will go to hell.”
— Martin Luther King, Jr.

While looking for substance on forgiveness our amazing King brought me to this site, reverendmom.blogspot.com
All those who think that every step we take, and every word said is not part of God's plan for our lives only need to talk to those who have HIStory in Him, our testimony. When we look back over our lives we see how situations moved us where we needed to be at that very moment to get to our next level in His plan.

I honor and respect that this is your belief and that it helps you. My belief is different and though it helps me, I do not expect that others will agree or that there is one right way.

I have looked back on my life at different times and seen where and when God has been present, but I do not consider that it was all planned. I could have made other choices, trusting that God would be present with me in those choices as well.

Thank you for your comments and for sharing your faith. God bless you and keep you.
